I placed this cache while home for Christmas. My mother lives in the neighborhood right behind the park and will maintain this cache, and hopefully get to see some of you look for this, since she walks in this park routinely. This is my first hide, though I got this container at the Geocaching HQ in Seattle almost a year ago. Congrats to Glen & Patti for FTF!!
I LOVE this park! I grew up going here every weekend and have attended numerous birthday parties. It has undergone some major renovations and updating since then, but I am glad to see it is still just as popular. The Heritage Museum is nearby and provides some interesting history of the oil and gas industry that orignally built this town. Watch for Muggles, as this is a very BUSY park at most hours. It does close at 11 PM and if the cops see you they will ask you to leave. Hope you enjoy this park and cache as much as I do!
