Geocache Description:

A cache with a seasonal challenge. Suggestion 1: early morning or late evening in peak season. Suggestion 2; BYOP.

I have eyed this area for a long time as it begs for a cache. It is suggested that you be very aware of your surroudings as it is a very high muggle area in season.

Shipwrecks in the Mossel Bay area

I was very surprised to see that since 1505 till a few years back that 45 odd wrecks have been discovered in the Mossel Bay area stretching from Glentana, GrootBrak all the way to Stilbaai.

At this place you will find a large noticeboard with the approximate locations, the vessel name and the year of the calamity. Of course these are not pinpointed due to illegal diving activities and the pillaging of the wrecksites,

If you are extremely lucky you may just catch a glimpse of the King Cenric which sank on 14 November 1903. It looks like a dark smear like a rock or a figment of your imagination.
