The cache is near the northern end of a well used pathway at the back of the houses on the west edge of Tuscany. You might see walkers, joggers, bikers, dog walkers etc. all enjoying the greenspace in the utlity right of way and the dramatic views to the west. The sunsets can be stunning, the wind can be biting and sometimes there are views over the fog down in the valley. The path continues south as far as the southern limit of the subdivision (and maybe further though much less well used).
The cache is dedicted to Foothills Scrambler (geowife's father) who introduced us to geocaching and regularly joins us for geowalks in town or in the Rockies. He's part of the 3 generations. He is also a skilled woodworker.
The cache is a micro and only contains a log. Tweezers will be needed to extract the log and bring a pen! If you don't have a pen to sign the log (as caching requires), then please provide alternate proof of finding such as send me a picture (don't post a picture as I will need to delete it) or send me a description of the find. Please take care the replace the cache as you found it.
