Geocache Description:

Set on Boxing Day as an excuse to get out and do something. The walk is a sequel to Belchford Bimble and links in to form a figure of 8. There are 25 caches in total giving an average cache to distance ratio of 1 every 320 metres It is approx. 5 miles (8km) long and involves a few steep uphills and slippery descents. The path is quite muddy in places and involves ploughed fields. It took us about 3 hours to set it. There are no facilities of any sort en route. It briefly passes through the village of Scamblesby but is mostly a rural walk. Navigation is easy with well marked paths and byways. It is possible to cut the corner after 8 and use one of the permissive paths that criss-cross the route. Parking is limited and your best bet is in the village, though we parked on a verge near to the start. Slightly harder than the standard Waring and Bain circuits Watch the ditch!
