Droylsden is a town in Greater Manchester, approx. 4.1 miles (6.6km) east of the city centre. In the mid-19th century Droylsden grew as a mill town on the Ashton and Peak Forest canals, with the population growing significantly. The town now has a population of around 23,000.
Lees Park is a piece of recreational ground in Droylsden on the border of Audenshaw. It is commonly used by dog walkers and football and rugby players.
