Droylsden is a town in Greater Manchester, approx. 4.1 miles (6.6km) east of the city centre. In the mid-19th century Droylsden grew as a mill town on the Ashton and Peak Forest canals, with the population growing significantly. The town now has a population of around 23,000.
Lees Park is a piece of recreational ground in Droylsden on the border of Audenshaw. It is commonly used by dog walkers and football and rugby players. The cache is located on one of the main cut routes through the park so some stealth is required.
