Geocache Description:

A tribute cache to "Cardinal Red"


A tribute cache to "Cardinal Red" who has additional finds here waiting for you! Cardinal Red attributes his name to the Arizona Cardinals who received their nickname from owner Chris O'Brien owner of the Racine Normals who played at Normal Park on Racine avenue in Chicago. In 1901 O'Brien bought used maroon uniforms from the University of Chicago, the colors of which had by then faded, O'Brien exclaimed "That's not maroon, it's cardinal red!" the teams name was then changed to the Cardinals.

Go to the listed coordinants and follow the clues below to the cache.
