Madeley to Keele
This is a series of caches from Madeley to Keele (or vice versa) along public footpaths, bridleways and roads. It can make a circular combining other caches along the A525 and Station Road in Keele.
The route crosses fields and can get muddy depending on weather conditions, so suitable footwear is recommended. Most of the route is dog friendly, though some stiles require dogs to jump rather than go round.
If you don't wish to walk it all in one go the number 85 bus runs between Keele and Madeley.

This is the remnants of an old railway bridge. The Audley branch line (via Leycett) joined the Market Drayton line, just south of here on the other side of the main road at Keele (Honeywall) junction. This branch was only used for goods and connected the Audley area mines with Shropshire by way of Market Drayton. The Market Drayton line served both passengers and goods.
