A park and grab or a place to begin your bosque hike. This site includes an ADA-accessible picnic area and trail, so the cache is also ADA-accessible. There was an "under cover" cache in the park that went missing a number of times, so it is time to try a different approach.

This area was severely affected by the 2003 bosque fires and Open Space turned this tragedy into a unique, informative and artistic expression for the love of the bosque. Local artist and firefighter Joseph Mark Chavez has carved representative pieces from the cottonwood tree stumps left intact.

Congratulations to 2bassetslaves on their FTF!
