Black Sand Beach #2 Traditional Cache

Black sand beaches typically indicate present or past volcanic activity in the area.  The sand is ground up volcanic rocks and minerals, and is heavier than common beach sand.  If you walk on a black sand beach, make sure you have your shoes handy because black sand tends to be hotter than tan or white sand.

This was orignially planted on 12-27-15, but I decided to I move "Black Sand Beach"  to a new location because of the better parking (thus "Black Sand Beach #2").  No swimsuit required to find this cache, but sturdy shoes are a must.  Enjoy finding this small paradise, Aloha!
