This area is known to old time locals as "Happy Hideaway". The road may no longer be travelled by car but is easily navigable by foot. We chose this location mainly because of the feel good vibes of its name and the accessibility for children and other beginners.
This geocache is hidden in the pine barrens along a road known to locals as "Happy Hideaway". The small rectangular plastic container is about 3" wide by 5" long by 2" high. This is our 1st geocache to hide so we are also putting in a travel bug (Happy Hideaway Hound). The location is very near to the 1973 crash site of 2 Phantoms Blue Angels that collided mid-air during an arrival practice so one may want to pause and pay respect to the fallen airmen.
