Geocache Description:

As part of my pilot training, I have become quite familiar with this area and have been amazed at the amount of communication that goes on between the pilot and the control tower. So the cache title is a snippet of what is said to the control tower on approach.

The meaning for the cache title is a little cryptic, but here's what it means:

1.Nelson tower 2.NAG is at... 3.right base for 4.seal 20

  1. Nelson airport has a control tower with normally two people on per shift
  2. NAG is a Cessna 152 which is an aerobatic plane and is owned by the Nelson Aero College (picture included), which is a plane I have been learning to fly in!
  3. Right Base is when you are coming over from Rabbit Island and heading towards to the north to approach the runway from the Tahuna/Golf Course end
  4. Seal 20 means the main runway and the number is for which way you are coming in
