This contact line has been used in two purposes.
One of the purposes is intended to put carry the new train to Seibu Railway.
The purpose of the second is to carry the train to Tamagawa Line( from Musashisakai to Koremasa).
(Tamagawa is not connected to the line of other Seibu Railway)
Contact line, connected to the Musashino Line in tunnel from the bottom of Akitsu shrine.
I placed cache at overpass there you can see a train entering the tunnel.

西武池袋線の秋津駅の少し西側、ちょうど柳瀬川を渡るあたりで池袋方面に向かう池袋線の南側に単線が分岐していきます。
これは、西武池袋線とＪＲ武蔵野線をつなぐ連絡線路になります。
新しい車両を西武鉄道に運び入れる際に、また西武鉄道の離れ小島になっている多摩川線（武蔵境－是政間）に車両を運ぶ際に使用されます。
連絡線は、秋津神社の下から地下に入り武蔵野線に連結します。
キャッシュはその地下に入る電車が見れる跨線橋に設置しました。
