An easy roadside cache on the outskirts of Nelspruit.
We learnt something new today - the English name "black-stick lily" for this plant which is locally known as "aapstert", "bobbejaanstert" or "besembos". It's common in Nelspruit's granite koppies, but rarely seen so close to a road. They all bloom at the same time, and it's an amazing sight. More info
