THERE IS NOT A CACHE AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!
This is a traditional style letterbox where you are given detailed instructions from the posted coordinates to find the cache. It's a short distance from beginning to end so that you don't have to backtrack for any other caches along the trail. The starting point is along the orange blazed trail above the 1,000 Steps Trail.
Please leave the stamp and inkpad in the cache. You can leave your stamp in the logbook and use the cache stamp in your letterbox booklet.
The posted coordinates will bring you to a small tree that has grown in the center of the path. The average person could wrap their two hands around the trunk of this tree. With the tree at your right shoulder and a orange blaze marked tree over your left shoulder, take roughly 20 footsteps(just standard stride foot steps) and you will see a "pit" on your right that has four small trees growing in it. From that location, continue another 34 footsteps as you pass over a small river of rocks to a small tree that is gated by a dead log on each side of path. You are now standing at yet another small tree in the center of the path that you can get your two hands wrapped around. With this small tree on your right shoulder, continue another 55 footsteps to a orange blazed tree. Standing at this orange blazed tree, continue another 35 steps. Stop. Look to your right and locate the broken, aged, charred, warrior. He stands on the right side of the path about 10 footsteps up the steep hillside.
I have placed a Unactivated Geocoin for the FTF. Also placed a Travel Bug in that wants to go on "awesome hikes". I figured this is a good place.
