Inwood Hill Series: Nature's Storage Edge Traditional Geocache
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This geocache is in the forest hills of Inwood Hill Park on the edge of the Inwood neighborhood of northern Manhattan. The trees around us are alive and overgrown and fallen trees and brush surround the minimally maintained paths of the forest area of the park. This is our first geocache to hide! My 9 year old son and I are very excited to do this after having spent a little time finding other geocaches in Inwood at the suggestion of neighborhood friends.
Container is a rectangular box wrapped in camouflage tape. The journey requires a bit of off path work but there is a clearing and it is accessible without whacking through any brush or serious impediments. Congratulations to DeirdreSeamus and mdittmar on being FTF! January 17th, 2016 - We have added a possible spoiler photo to assist in finding the geocache and have learned via others and testing ourselves that the coordinates may be about 50 feet off of the actual site. Look low to the ground and about 20 - 25 feet behind Tree 1.
