Geocache Description:

Prospect, Connecticut is self proclaimed as "the best little town in Connecticut". Prospect used to be called Columbia Parrish and was a part of Cheshire, CT but became its own town in 1827. The town has the highest elevation in New Haven County. Prospect's mayor, Bob Chatfield, is the longest serving elected official in CT and currently serving his 20th term as mayor. This cache is located in McGrath Park, a small park in town which has a pond for fishing and feeding the ducks. There are also lighted tennis courts and picnic areas. Difficulty level was increased because finding the parking area can be tricky. You may not park on Route 68. Instead you must park to the right of Long River Middle School off of Route 69. The park closes at sunset. You are looking for a camo pill bottle with no room for tradeables. Snow will increase the difficulty.
