Pavillion Perplexity Traditional Cache

IMPORTANT: Please always return this cache to the same position you found it!

This cache is located in the Pavillion Flat section of Parramatta Park - the home of many great geocaches. Why not bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it? There are free BBQs, picnic areas and playgrounds throughout the park, and many caches to be found.

There is evidence the aboriginal people used the Parramatta park area for over 20,000 years (we hope it doesn't take you quite that long to find our cache). More recently, the area was a Vice-Regal domain from 1788 as the site of Old Government House, and from 1858 the area was opened as a public park - one of the first in the world.

The cache we have placed is the first of this type we have used, so it will be interesting to see the reactions of those who find it.
