A short walk away from the car park is a little piece of beauty . I came across it when i was waiting to go for a cruise and though it looked like a little forest . all be in very small in area it just struck me as foresty , After the rains this area along the banks of the Zambezi turns a lush thick green and many species of plants and trees pop up and show leaving the bush thick and beautiful .
It may not be the best example of a "forest" area but to me it did even though it is a small area, all the new vines growing on the trees, the various clours of green from new off shoots from plants and trees , the thick covering of grass under foot . A small sight to behold. In winter i imagine it is a very different story as the rains disappear and the landscape becomes thin and penetratable again. If my little forest isnt enough for you there is the mighty Zambezi just a few meters away which will keep you mesmerized .
