sheshe83: Unfortunately I haven't had as much time of late to dedicate to geocaching and more importantly cache maintenance, so I feel it is unfair to seekers and archiving this cache allows another cacher to hide in this area.

A small memorial ground that is often overlooked. There is often parking available at the roadside directly opposite the memorial ground and only a short walk along a Tarmac path is required to reach the cache site.
This memorial ground was presented by Sir H.W.Trickett Ltd. and their employees as a memorial to the men from the communities around Waterfoot, who gave their lives in the European (First World War) 1914 - 1919.
