You are looking for a small keychain pill container type cache. I have placed it in this area because Belgreen needed a cache, and I thought this would be a good simple one to start with. I know many people in the area who, when they first find out about geocaching, download the app and are very disappointed to find out that there are no caches in this immediate area, so I wanted to do something about that!
I decided to place this cache near the cemetery because it is easily accessed from the highway and would be quickly available to both local cachers and those traveling through. I have had people (non-cachers or new ones) say to me in the past, "Isn't it disrespectful to put a geocache in a cemetery?", but I have logged several cemetery caches myself and have never thought anyone disrespectful for placing it there. Mainly, the point of geocaching (other than trading trinkets and signing log books) is to find new or interesting places to appreciate, whether close to home or far away. If you go caching with that mindset, then there is nothing disprespectful about appreciating an area that is meant to memorialize those who have passed on. I plan on placing another cemetery cache in the near future, and I know that true geocachers will respect and appreciate those areas just as I have with the caches that I have logged myself. Veteran cachers know this already, but I am putting this here for all the new cachers that I hope will begin their caching journey now that there is at least one in their community.
The only thing to be said about the cache location is to be careful on the short but steep area of terrain near the cache. Since the cache was placed when the leaves were on the ground, it was a little bit slippery in some spots, depending on which direction you were coming from. Please be cautious of that, but otherwise, happy caching!!
