This cache is going to take you to a part of Shelton that has been long forgotten. Take a little time and read the history of the area on the sign near the cache.
This cache is placed in an area that played a major role in the history of the lower Housatonic valley during the 19th and 20th century. Though there is not much walking involved for this cache I would not classify this as a park and grab. The container has only room for a log so you will need to bring a pen.
