Just an easy cache for a quick "fix". I know how it is when you've just got to find at least one for the day! Bring your own pen. Please tuck deep inside to help prevent the frequent “muggling” this cache has experienced over the years.
"Youth Peace Park is Marysville's 1.8-acre park that was built in a single day on June 20, 2003 by more than 100 volunteers. Their work was based on a park plan developed by students from the Marysville Middle School Leadership/Life Skills class. The park features the city's first climbing wall, picnic tables, and a crescent-shaped memorial wall with decorative tiles and a garden that remembers loved ones, celebrates youth, and serves as a reminder of the dangers of substance abuse and violence." This information is from the City of Marysville website. This is a small park on the corner of two busy-ish streets. There is no parking at the park, but right across the street I have always been able to park at the elementary school- even on school days. Please be careful crossing the street with children. There is a crosswalk at the light to make it safer. Thanks to Fluteface who suggested putting this park back on the geocaching map. There is a geo-caching hat pin for the FTF. This is my first cache and if any of you experienced cachers see any problems with my coordinates, placement etc I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! Congratulations to Frisbychix2 for her first FTF and Prestonfolk for co-FTF!
