Fields Island Traditional Cache

A nice and easy cache to find, offering some wonderful views of the town as well as across the bay to Fort Knox and the Penobscot Bridge. Family friendly, and an easy find.

Parking at either public lots will require you to then walk the waterfront walkway to the location. You'll know you're there when you reach a piece of the shore that jutts out a little bit and has a beautiful directional pole offering distances to different countries and towns from the local spot.
Take a look at the scenery nearby and look for a small green Mentos Gum container with brown tape wrapped around it. Item will be down low in a natural structure, and could be covered in a small amount of snow through the winter (hint will definitely help.)
