Star Trek Clue #12 Borg Feb 12th Mystery Cache

Welcome to Clue, Star Trek style

This is a game of Clue.  Like the board game you need to collect information to determine the victim, the perpetrator, the place, and the weapon.  There will be 7 caches for each, released one a day with the final released on Feb 29^th.  In each cache there will be a code to collect and note the cache it goes with. It is used to solve the final. 

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Our next possible villian is the Borg.  The Borg are a collective species.  They function as drones in a hive.  They try to assimilate those they come in contact with and are known to tell those they come in contact with that resistance is futile.  "We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."  Are the Borg the villians?  Did they kill someone with a scanner?  In engineering?

In order to solve this puzzle you will need to think like a Borg Cube ship.
