Geocache Description:

About 5 miles north of Nordman, ID. West side of Priest Lake.

One Sunday, heading south towards Nordman after finding Moun10Bikes "Shoe Tree Stash", I heard air, escaping fast from the left rear tire.

Oops.

I promptly pulled over between a little bridge and another dirt road. Found out the jack I had never used before actually worked, but the spare was more difficult to extract than anticipated. The spare also only had about 10 lbs. of pressure, just enough to limp back on.
Getting a tire fixed easily on a Sunday was a problem.

And after realizing that the only flats I have had in personal vehicles (12 years apart), were at Priest Lake, I decided to set out a cache with a tire theme and few pieces to possibly help someone nearby afflicted with a flat.

Includes:

A few pressure gauges (1 new)
A couple of flat repair tools
A can of 'Flat Fix'
A tube for a mountain bike
A caster
A 'Hot Wheels' wheel that makes authentic engine sounds(?)
A lawn mower wheel
A couple of Schrader stem caps
&
The offending piece of metal that caused my latest flat. (5 inches long, and I think I know what it was from, but not how it got in my tire)
