Geocache Description:

Leap into the new year and join the SJGeocaching crew for this 2016 Leap Year event.

You will earn a Leap Day souvenir by attending this event on Feb. 29. You can also earn another souvenir during that weekend (February 27-29) by finding any geocache during that time period!

Leap Year 2016

An ongoing challenge in the geocaching community has been to find at least one cache every day of the year. You can see where you stand if you are a GC premium member on your profile page under statistics. Since it may take four years to find a cache on February 29th this event makes it easy to either finish your grid or if you're a new cacher start your challenge and get the most difficult day logged!

It will be easy by coming to celebrate the 2016 Leap year with us!

And yes, as part of a world wide consortium there will be a special 2016 New Jersey only Limited Edition 366 Geocoin and only 60 will be available at this event only. The limited color combinations will be unique to New Jersey. It will not be re-minted. Once they are gone they are gone. The picture is shown below !See you there ..it will take 4 years to log this day again !!
