SPANISH: VISIÓN GENERAL
Ya era hora de que Mahón tuviera su primer multicaché, que encontraréis en el Parc de Es Freginal. Mi intención con este caché es dar a conocer algunos hechos sobre este bien escondido parque, que es el pulmón verde más importante de la ciudad. Para ello, visitaréis algunos de sus rincones para calcular las coordenadas finales del micro que constituye el caché.
El parque es un lugar que ofrece diferentes posibilidades a la gente que lo visita. Los niños pueden pasárselo genial en diferentes áreas de recreo. Quienes estéis interesados en etnografía, encontraréis elementos como norias, canalizaciones y “safrejos” que almacenaban agua que nos recuerdan su pasado como huertos, y para los que améis la Historia, descubriréis que un famoso pirata del Mediterráneo se dejó caer por aquí en el siglo XVI. También se puede aprender sobre plantas autóctonas e importadas, y avistar pájaros. Para acabar, si sóis fans del jazz deberíais saber que el parque es el escenario para un festival que se celebra en verano.
ENGLISH: OVERVIEW
I was about time that Mahon had its first multicaché, which you'll find in Es Freginal Park.
My intention with this caché is giving to know some facts about this well hidden park, which is the most important green lung the town has, by visiting some of its spots in order to find out the final coordinates of this caché's micro container.
The park is a place that offer different possibilities to people who visit it. Children can have fun in different playgrounds. People who are interested in ethnography will find elements such as waterwheels, irrigation ditches and “safrejos” to store water that remind us its past as vegetable gardens, and for the ones who love History you'll discover that a famous Mediterranean pirate dropped by in the 16th century. People can also learn about native and imported plants and go birdwatching. Finally, if you are a jazz fan, you should known that the park is the setting for a festival that is celebrated in summer.

-Antes de empezar debéis saber dos cosas:
La primera es que tendréis que traer vuestro propio bolígrafo para loguear debido al reducido tamaño del recipiente.
La segunda es el horario de apertura del parque: El parque permanece abierto cada día de 8 a 20.
-Este parque es bien conocido como un lugar donde se puede avistar pájaros, ya que hay muchas especies que lo visitan a lo largo del año. De hecho, mientras estaba reuniendo información para crear este caché conseguí ver el más punk de todos los habitantes voladores del parque. ¿Podríais adivinar el nombre en catalán de este pájaro? ¿Cuántas letras tiene este nombre? El número de letras es A.
¡Por cierto, en nuestro dialecto menorquín este nombre se usa para referirse a una persona tonta!
-Barbarroja, el famoso pirata, tenía que estar presente en este caché, ya que estableció su campamento justo aquí, cuando sus tropas desembarcaron y asediaron la ciudad en el año... Bueno, este es vuestro trabajo, ¡averiguar el año! Cuando lo tengáis, sumad las dos últimas cifras. El resultado es B.
Como recordatorio de este infame año cuando los ciudadanos de la ciudad fueron traicionados por sus governadores, que firmaron un acuerdo con Barbarroja para que respetara sus propiedades personales mientras que los piratas saqueaban, asesinaban y tomaban prisioneros, todavía existen algunos restos pertenecientes a una noria que reciben el nombre de Barbarroja. Los podéis encontrar muy cerca de una de las áreas de recreo infantiles.
-Ahora es el momento de encontrar un león. ¡Sí, un león! ¿Lo habéis encontrado? Bien, ahora imaginad que este león es el centro de una circunferencia de radio igual a 20 metros. ¿Cuántas flores idénticas podéis contar en este área? Este número es x.Una vez que lo tengáis, tendréis que encontrar una pequeña charca temporal. No os preocupéis si venís aquí en verano, ya que el lugar está claramente indicado con un panel informativo.En este panel podéis ver un precioso y colorido insecto. ¿Cuántos podéis contar? Este número es y.
Sumad x más y y el resutado es C.
-El siguiente paso supone encontrar una criatura mitológica cuya parte animal está relacionada con la montaña más alta de la isla. Una vez que estéis mirando a esta criatura, contad el número de anillos que lleva. Este número es D.
-A los niños les encanta trepar, y en este parque hay algunas zonas donde pueden poner en práctica sus habilidades. Para continuar vuestra búsqueda necesitáis encontrar un rincón con algunos arcos. ¿Cuántos podéis contar? Este número es E.
-Finalmente tendréis que ir a un lugar que es bien conocido por sus diferentes especies de plantas. La que os proporcionará el último número que se corresponde con F se conoce como Matthiola incana.
Después de seguir todos estos pasos deberíais tener seis números que se corresponden con seis letras (esto no quiere decir que estos números deberían ser diferentes). Así, éstas son las coordenadas finales:

-Before starting, bear in mind two things:
The first one is that you should bring your own pen in order to log in the caché since its constainer is micro sized.
The second one has to do with Es Freginal Park's opening hours: It opens everyday, from 8 am to 8 pm.
-This park is well-known as a place where you can go birdwatching, since there are many bird species that visit it over the year. In fact, while I was gathering information to create this caché, I managed to see the punkest of all of the park's flying inhabitants. Would you be able to guess the Catalan name of this bird? How many letter does this bird name have? The number of letters is A. By the way, in our Minorcan dialect this name is used to refer to a dumb person!
-Barbarrosa, the famous pirate, had to be present in this caché since he set his campsite right in this area when his troops disembarked and besieged the town in... Well, that's your job, to find out the year! When you have the year, add the last two numbers. The result is B.
As a remembrance of this infamous year when the citizens of the town were betrayed by their governors, who made an agreement with Barbarrosa to have all their properties spared while the pirated sacked, killed and took captives, there are still some remains belonging to a waterwheel that receive Barbarrosa's name. You can find them very close to one of the children's playground areas in the park.
-Now it's time for you to find a lion. Yes, a lion! Have you found it? Ok, imagine that this lion is the center of a circumference whose radius is equal to 20 meters. How many identical flowers can you count in this area? This number is x. Once you have this, you'll have to find a small temporary pond. Do not worry if you come here in the summer, since the spot is clearly indicated by an information panel.In this panel you can see a beautiful, colourful insect. How many can you count? This number is y. Add x and y, and the result is C.
-Next step involves finding a mythological creature whose animal part is related to Minorca's highest mountain. Once you are looking at this creature, count the number of rings it is wearing. This number is D.
-Children love climbing, and in this park there are some areas where they can put their climbing skills into practice. To continue your search, you need to find a spot with some arches. How many can you count? This number is E.
-Finally, you'll have to go to a place that is very well known for its different plant species. The one that will provide the last number F is known as Matthiola incana.
After following all these steps you should have six numbers that correspond to six letters (this does not mean that these numbers should be different). So, these are the final coordinates:
