All are welcome to come and lurk near the fountain just before 1pm. When you hear the one o'clock gun, leap as high and far as you can to celebrate the leap year! (Just don't leap into the fountain...) Can't leap? Then come and leap in spirit - or just come and laugh at the numpties who are jumping up and down.
There will be plenty of time to talk, eat and swap trackables after leaping, though you are also free to head back to work if/when you need to. If the weather is ok, please feel free to bring a picnic lunch for yourself or to share.
If you're not heading back to work and want to fill in your calendar day to get your 'find' souvenir, there are plenty of caches of all kinds near to the event.
Princes Street Gardens is a public park and has step-free access. You can get virtually any Lothian Bus to Princes Street. You can also take a tram, and the event is minutes from Waverley Station. Car parking is somewhere between limited and non-existant, so please use public transport where possible.
