Celebrate Leap day with fellow geocachers
In the beautiful surroundings of Queen Elizabeth country park
over a coffee and slice of cake

Each attendee will be given a small handmade celebratory gift
and the opportunity to enter a draw to win a 2016 Leap day geocoin
February 29th, Leap day, is a special day for geocachers wishing to fill their calendar grid as the next opportunity to fill this square will not be until 2020. A souvenir will also be awarded to any geocacher that attends an event on February 29th.
Multiple icons in a day
There will be new caches published for the event and a number already in place making it possible to find 7 icons in a day within the country park (Traditional, Multi, Puzzle, Letterbox, Wherigo, Earth and Event).
Directions
The site has its own sliproads on both the north and south bound carriageways of the A3. Follow the brown and white tourist board signs. The main car park is at N50 57.711 W000 58.704.
Parking discount
The park ranger has offered a special price to geocachers - you can park all day for the price of 1 hour (£1.50) instead of the usual £3 for a whole day but please display the event parking voucher in your dashboard - download and print here I will also have copies available at the event. Car Park tickets will also allow you to move your car to different car parks around the site if you want to locate closer to various geocaches during the day.
If you are collecting stamps for the Southdowns Geotour remember to bring your SDGT passport as you can gain a stamp if you make a purchase in the cafe.
