Op 28 december 2015 overleed op 70 jarige leeftijd Ian "Lemmy" Fraser Kilmister Lemmy was 40 jaar frontman en bassist van de legendarische metalband Motörhead welke hij in 1975 oprichtte en ook buiten de muziekwereld bekend door zijn opvallende uiterlijk, bakkebaarden, drank- en speedgebruik, lang haar en rauwe stem, maar ook door zijn humor. Hij stond bekend als de man die het rock 'n roll leven tot de bodem uitdiepte en zoals hij in 1980 al zong in het iconische nummer 'Ace of Spades': You know I'm born to lose, and gambling's for fools, But that's the way I like it baby, I don't wanna live forever.
