This is the story of why I have grown to love, despise, admire, and respect snakes. When I was 14, I started my first job at a mailroom. My boss had a whole room in the back where he kept his pet reptiles. At first I wasn't so fond of the scales and tales, but after awhile it wasn't uncommon for me to work around the office with a 3 foot corn snake wrapped around my waist or a ball python using my arm as a branch. A couple years later, I picked up a small amount of bad luck and had the misfortune of acquiring two rattle snake bites on my ankle as I was running through some dry grass. My Dr told me I must've been running pretty fast because the bites never swelled and they didn't offer me any remedy. The small amount of venom which affected my speech and the aching pain lasted months. My cute little slithery friends were also now my mortal enemies. Since then I have personally had a corn snake, a king snake, and a sand boa as pets...but when I cache in the summer, every step I take is with fear and caution. Some of my family have since called me "snake bite" which I guess is a pretty cool nickname since not very many people can say they've had fangs sunk in their skin. So I dedicate this cache to serpents of all size shape and color...poisonous and not.
This fill in the blank was inspired by my two favorite Pixar movies.
