Rocks, pebbles and even granite chips have become a landscaping feature of many pavements and roadside gardens. Some appear boundless and you don't know where to start looking. Others are less significant and you might overlook them. Occasionally you encounter a boulder so massive that it is a feature on its own.
While driving through the suburbs to work each day I realised that these rock "gardens" provide a cache location all on their own. This inspired me to start a series of caches based on Obvious Piles Of Rocks.
Some will be easy to find, others may be extremely hard! If you enjoy them I hope that you will add to the series.
Since starting the series I have been looking out for more suitable hides. This literally jumped out at me. Although not actually in Joburg it is close enough that I am including it. Surprisingly there is only one really suitable spot in the whole boulder.
