This cache is a camouflaged 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Rubbermaid container which hopefully is waterproof. It will take small trade items, including Geocoins and Travel Bugs. The initial contents are a log book, pencil, pencil sharpener, Silly Putty egg, windup giraffe, battery powered Hoot Owl, and a Junior Ranger badge.
The location is on Holomua Road (right turn shortly after Mama's Fish House heading East on the Hana Highway), then South down the road past the old school until you get to a pond on your left. The cache is there, as are a lot of egrets.
The cache will be maintained by our daughter, Lisa Carter, who lives nearby in Paia, ably assisted by our grandson, Eliot Carter, age 7.
