Sandhurst is situated on the river Blackwater in the south east of the Royal County of Berkshire close to the boundaries of Hampshire and Surrey. It is a town of about 7500 houses and 22,000 inhabitants. It has its own Town Council and is divided into four wards, Central Sandhurst, Little Sandhurst, College Town and Owlsmoor. It is part of Bracknell Forest Borough, the town of Bracknell being approximately seven miles to the north.
This cache is in the heart of Sandhurst and can be done as part of a cache and dash tour of the area, taking in a variety of other caches including sidetracked, Pooh's place and the Raspberry Walkies series around the recreation ground.
It is also well situated to visit some of the historic points of interest, including the New Scotland Hill well and St Michaels's Primary school which is the oldest building in Sandhurst (1862).
There is even a small children's park for the mini-cachers!
This cache is named after our house, which is hiding just around the corner, the place we come to rest after a hard day's caching!
There is ample parking near to the cache location along the road.
Please ensure the cache is well hidden as it it busy with resident muggles! (Stream does not need jumping over to find the cache!)
