As it was in 2006;
OK all you London cachers (and all who fancy coming to London), here's another chance to get together, swap tales and travel bugs, and have a drink or two.
This event cache is just north of the Thames and has views over the Millennium Bridge, and, of course, the river. Festivities start around 5pm and go on until the last person leaves, or the pub throws us out.
The location is The Samuel Pepys, Stew Lane, London, EC4.
It's easily accessible by public transport, it's within 10 minutes walk of Mansion House, Blackfriars, Cannon Street, and Bank stations.
Parking is available further east along Thames Street (about a 5-minute walk) but I remember it being fairly expensive, as you'd expect for a central London location.
The pub has a wheelchair lift to get upstairs to the bar, an accessible toilet and they welcome registered assistance dogs. They also do table service.
As if all of the above wasn't enough there are plenty of caches very close by for those coming from further afield - I've done most of them and can recommend them. I'd particularly recommend Last Delivery as a nearby travel bug hotel and for those who like multis I greatly enjoyed "Not Piccadilly".
And just in case any more enticement is needed I'll be bringing along the one and only... (drum roll maestro)... Cache Flag 2! Yes, you get to sign the flag if you come along.
Oh yes, and I've got some Jeeps and coins and things to bring and share.
