For those of you who work in the evenings, or who just want to see your Leap Day geocaching souvenir appear on your profile first thing in the morning, here's your event. There will likely be several events in Portland in the evening, and there is also one in Longview, if your schedule fits more with an evening event.

We have the table area that is just to the right of the door reserved. Food and beverages are available, but no purchase is required. The coffee shop folks are hoping we will mostly arrive around 9 and not too much earlier (their busiest time) and can stagger our orders so they will be able to serve us in a timely manner. They are not quite sure what to expect from a Monday morning geocacher invasion! However, I will be there an hour early (as I usually am anyway) with the log sheet if there are a few folks who need to stop in earlier on their way to work.

No speeches at this event. No raffle. Just smiles and conversation and a great start to your day.

Info about the Leap Day souvenirs:
The first souvenir can only be earned on Leap Day itself - February 29 - by attending a geocaching event. The other souvenir can be earned all weekend long (February 27-29) by getting outside and finding a geocache. (Hint: You'll want to earn both of these...)
