A simple pub event with food as an option. Starts at 6.30 until 9pm.
However, that alone would be too simple. The muggles wouldn't know that we were special! So...you can leave your hat on!
That's right, just choose a hat, no matter how silly, inappropriate or floppy, and wear it to the event.
At some point during the evening there'll be a group photo (somehow!). The FTF will awarded to the person with the hat that amuses, entertains or impresses me the most.
An area has been reserved for us by the manager but they have requested that we pre-book our food orders, in order that we all get our meals together. This is a busy pub and there's usually many people eating, so,...
1) Please could everyone log a "Will Attend", even if you're not eating and even if you're only popping in for a few minutes.
2) If there is more than one of you in your caching team, please say how many of you there are. This will enable me to reserve enough tables.
3) Choose your meal from the menu by clicking on the "Related Web Page" at the top of this page and include this in your log.
4) Bring your money! I'll ask that they make each caching team a separate order so that there's no complicated bill-splitting to be done! Buy your own drinks from the bar.
5) I'll probably know many of you, but if you're new to this area or if this is your first event, please say so in your log. This was I can look out for you and make sure you feel welcome.
6) I'll bring a box for you to place any trackable items such as travel bugs into. If possible, please log them into the event before you leave to make it easier for the next cacher to pick them up, and in order that they have the correct mileage.
7) Don't forget to sign my brand new trackable log book!
8) Don't forget your hat! (although the bringing and/or wearing of hats is strictly optional.)
There is no requirement to buy any food or drink to attend this event. Sorry, no children are allowed in the pub. Looking forward to seeing you all.
