Geocache Description:

Twin Falls is the last of the 5 waterfalls on Back Creek in Denham Scenic Reserve - and without doubt the best of all. 

Make time to relax and enjoy this wonderful location. Pack your swimmers if it's warm as the pool is a great place for a dip.

Getting there: The "rope" route described here is more direct than the main track option via Lipp Falls. However, you may wish to do a circuit via the Earthcache at Lipp Falls, then rock-hop downstream to GZ gathering the other caches as you go. We recommend returning via the "rope" route as below. This is a short but serious bush walk of approx 5km return, mostly off track with some footpads marked with tape to follow. It is easy to loose the track, but so long as you head downstream you can't really get too lost. Take normal bushwalking precautions i.e. plenty of water, food and sensible footwear (thongs won't cut it!). Tell someone where you are going.

From the parking waypont follow the main Denham Scenic Reserve track to the green sign waypoint before the main track descends down the stairs to Lipp Falls. Hop over the fence style (black protective tubing provided over the wire) and contour along the footpad around the edge of the paddock to the Dam. From here continue to the Trailhead waypoint. This is where it gets somewhat steep! carefully descend down the spur for about 50m keeping a look out to your left for a faint track (marked with tape) that takes you to the top of the rope section. There is a permanent rope set up here to help you down, and up, this very steep and crumbly section into the rainforest below. You will be grateful the rope is here.

Once down in the rainforest a good taped track will take you to Twin Falls, also passing "Back Creek Columns" Earthcache http://coord.info/GC69NZQ.

At the bottom of the falls you will see a huge fig tree between the two cascades. Find the green tag behind the tree at head height and record the numbers on it.

GZ is at: S28 0A.BCD E153 1W.XYZ

Where, using the numbers from the top of the tag down:-
A=3rd, B=1st, C=3rd, D=5th, W=9th, X=3rd, Y=8th, Z=2nd.
