I hope this cache sparks a little interest in the value and source of fresh water throughout the region and beyond.
I take the crossing of the Continental divide (Great Divide of North America) as a "ho hum" type of event as I travel throughout the Rocky Mountain states for a living. Yet the divide plays more significance for the places and the way we live than most realize. As an outdoor enthusiast, I hope to place many more caches at well (and not so well) clearly marked points of crossing over the Great Divide along the Rockies.
