The area is worth a visit. It allows for views of the harbour from Xingguang Riverside Park, and close by is the dramatic architecture of the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center.
The skyline to the east is dominated by the Tuntex Sky Tower. On my first visit to scout out this geocache site, dusk was falling. A group of teens in graduation stoles asked me to take their photo. They posed with the Tuntex Sky Tower and the moon in the background as the tower was catching the last light of day.
The park area here is full of activity. Later that evening, I saw a night photography class in progress, and on another visit, I found a club of Pug owners and, of course, their dogs, as well as many people simply enjoying the scenery.
As popular as the area is, finding the cache demands stealth, but you will probably quickly recognize where the cache is hidden. You might even catch a small glimpse of it from one side. The cache is a micro. Have fun trying to be invisible while so many eyes surround you.
The cache was once accessible from a wheelchair but has been moved (2016.09.21).
