Although still a lovely park, in the midst of Farnworth, it is quite noticeable that it has lost some of the former glory.
Not a bad place for a stroll or a dog walk ... even better in Summer.
Near to Gas Street and the old Gas works, hence the name.
Slightly off the main pathways, this geocaching experience will take you through a few scarcely scattered trees and draws attention to the way the old wall around the park was built.
