It is my honour to host another Beds, Bucks and Herts Bordering on the Ridiculous event. This time we're in Lee-on-the-Solent, on 29th February, so a large number of attendees will be finishing their grid of dates on which they've found caches.
To view your grid, go to your profile on geocaching.com, click the Statistics tab, and about half way down the page is "Finds for Each Day of the Year". Here's mine, as at 3rd January 2016:
This event is open to everyone from the geocaching community, whether they live or work in the Beds, Bucks and Herts area or beyond. New geocachers will be made to feel especially welcome - please say in your "Will Attend" log if you've never been to an event before or are new to the area. When you post your log please also say how many people will be eating. If you would like food the owners have asked that you call ahead of the date so they can gauge numbers for food.
As you can see this is labelled as a BBH event (Beds, Bucks and Herts) and it is not being held in that area. The CO of this event is from that area. As he cant make it to the BBH being held up there he has decided to hold an annex event in Hampshire, at exactly the same time.
For a bit of extra interest if phone signal allows at both venues, (this one and GC694N2 BBH 97 Bordering on not being able to count) then a video call will happen where attendees from both events can gather for a group photo from both ends! Its something a little different.
So come along for the evening for fun, TBs, gossip and merriment. There is plenty of parking available.
