Greetings from Canada; we are visiting Gibraltar for our first time – touring and geocaching.
We would like to meet local & visiting Geocachers in the area before we explore "The Rock" this day.
Who: all geocaching families welcome to this free event
When: rain or shine: Monday, February 29, 2016 (Leap Day)
Where/Time: 9:30 am to 10:30 am (1 hour of social)
Meet at the Gate to the Botanic Gardens at the bottom of the steps inside the parking area behind the Cable Car Base Station off Red Sands Road (co-ordinates given) If you are visiting, be sure to check out a target of opportunity: GC27TKX "Big Guns" in the parking lot before leaving.
LOOK FOR a wife (long blond hair) & a husband (in a brown Australian hat) both wearing a Canadian Flag pin.
We hope the event location is central enough for tourists and locals alike for easy access and parking opportunity.
Activity Remember to sign the attendance paper logbook; share stories, and exchange TBs
TB Care – please “drop-off” any TBs you will bring to the event before arriving at the event and please “retrieve from the event” any TBs you leave the event with ~ so no Trackables get lost.
