A relatively simple hide hidden a few meters off the Wallaby Track Section of the Great Dividing Trail.
This particular section is known as the Creswick Miners Walk which takes in alot of the mining heritage areas of the Creswick State Forest. The Creswick Miners Walk extends from the Ballarat Train Station to the Creswick Train Station via Slaty Creek over 25.5km.
In the immediate vicinity you will find some interesting leftover remains of small mining activity probably undetaken by independant or small teams of miners trying to find their riches rather than larger mines such as the Humbug Hill mine company or the Australasian Mines in the district.
More information about this section of the trail can be found on the GDTA Website
