This is a great family cache! Don't forget to bring your geopup along! Bring the bikes and scooters for the young ones and be sure to check out the Radio Controlled Airplanes if they are flying. At this time there are also a few swings for the kids to enjoy while you are there.The park is a great chance to get outside and get some walking in while not having to deal with rough terrain for the little ones. Even strollers will find the track very easy. My daughter and I took both of my grandchildren here often when they were in strollers.The park is also home to two sites being restored the Swamp Creek Schoolhouse and the Dengler Summer Kitchen so it is an educational opportunity as well.
My grandchildren and I specifically placed this cache for children to be able to have a fairly easy find with some exciting items in the cache! Please if you take something put something back so that the fun can continue. For a FTF there is even a mini flashlight if that is what you choose! You will not need to go far off the track to find this cache.UPDATE: I HAD TO REPLACE THIS CACHE TODAY ADDED NEW TOYS. DO NOT USE THE BEATEN PATH THERE IS POISON IVY EVERYWHERE! GO RIGHT A LITTLE AND GO THROUGH THE GOLDEN ROD WHICH IS INNOCENT AND EASY TO STEP DOWN FOR CHILDREN TO FOLLOW YOUR PATH!
