Camp Ingalls is owned and maintained by the Town of North Hero. It is open to the public year round. No hunting is allowed in this area. Please, no motorized vehicles or bikes on the trails. Pets should be leased. During the summer the North Hero Parks and Recreation Committee run summer camps for area children. If you are caching during one of these times, please let a camp director know you are looking for the cache.
The cache is a short walk from the Camp Ingalls parking area. Since this is a nano cache, don't forget your pencil. If you have the time, enjoy the trail with interpretive signs.
The Ingalls trail also leads to the Butternut Hill Trail. This conservation area is owned by the Nature Conservancy and Lake Champlain Land Trust. No pets, motorized vehicles or bikes are allowed on this trail.
