This is a great spot to view the Penobscot River. It is also a place to launch a boat to sightsee of go fishing. The road gets plowed in the winter it seems so access is year round I believe. The cache however may not if there is too much snow on the ground.
This is the location of the former cache"Coming Round the Bend of Rooster Rock" by Hollora. This is where I met her wayyyy back in 2006 when she hid this, her first cache hide. She became one of my dearest caching friends and continues to be. The hide is a small lock and lock box hidding in a convienient little hidey hole. Place it back as found please. This is away from the parking area so muggles should not be an issue.
