This park has one of the most commanding views in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Bellevue Park is one of Sydney's older parks, having been created in 1888. It crowns Bellevue Hill, which was originally called Vinegar Hill by the early settlers to commemorate the Battle of Vinegar Hill in Ireland, but in the early 1800's when Governor Macquarie arrived he took offense at the celebration of Irish rebellion and bestowed the more descriptive name of Bellevue Hill, which also became the name of the surrounding suburb.
This historic and unusually located park had to have a cache in it, and after the archiving of the previous cache here which was owned by Bells Angels and went under the same name, I now recreate Belle View. The cache is reasonably sized, so will fit any TB's and has a few cool tradeable's too. This won't be a hard find. The WP is at the top of the hill, where you can experience some amazing views. Is close to Bondi Junction and there are plenty of bus routes near the park.
