This little-known access to the river is amazing. Although there is easy 2 wheel driving to the cache with a large area for parking and turning around, there is scope for some challenging 4 wheel driving along the same route, as well as great swimming and picnicking. There is a rope swing on the other side of the river (I was originally thinking of placing my cache over there but decided not to be that mean!). Past the 2-wheel drive parking / turn around area the road deteriorates into more challenging 4 wheel drive territory, or maybe great trail biking. And the picnicking gets even better, there are often be people out there on summer weekends. Note that this is a dead end road; it does not continue into Spring Creek township.
The cache is off the beaten track, just the way the Seagnoid likes it. You are looking for a 4L pail. Enjoy!
